Review:
Of course this movie has a ton of hype and what movie can live up to all of it .... blah blah blah. Even assuming that, this film is a bit of a dissapointment. This movie shows that not only the special FX fun to watch Star Wars. It was as if George Lucas was very pleased with what he could do CGI effects, he forgot what made the original trilogy so great, well-written and the characters. Which is not a bad movie but the problem many.I-Many people forgiven this movie to be excited as they say only the first trilogy and just set everything else to follow. False False False, this film needs its own movie first and foremost are three other films. It is necessary to have a good character and the story is somewhat interesting .... The didnt.-ranging conflict in this story and the fate of the planet trade disputes Naboo. Someone really thought about it? Details of the case are somewhat vague and generate real interest is revealed not enough for us to root for a particular side. Important conflicts and improve his Darth Sideous continued much in the background. We do not know why Darth Maul hate Jedis so .... he just did. Lucas might want to be somewhat like Darth Maul Boba Fett (silent and mysterious). He worked with Boba Fett because he only support character, not the main villain. Qui-gon is really the only character who can relate to and even he was quite far away. Queen acts like a mannequin in a lot of scenes (and like it). Obi-Wan Kenobi wander through the entire movie pointless and never say anything interesting. The characters never seem to talk about anything except the plot (like in the first movie). C3PO and R2-D2 are quite useful. Jedi Council comes across as very cold and buracratic. And I will never understand WHY Annakin wrote an elementary school child in this film. He was a teenager. The scene with the queen uncomfortable. Neither would discuss other things Jar.Various Jar ... The problem seems new midochlorians tacked on. Humor falls flat unless your child is very small. Annakin destroy the last trading ships and safves everyone, basically by mistake! ILM and George Lucas seems to be very happy with their new toys CGI spend 95% of their time perfecting them. Frankly I think the FX Return of the Jedi sharper, more dimensional and less cartoon. Nothing seems to happen all that impressive here. The film is never as good as the hype, but it could easily be much better. I waited so long for this movie, but the first time I saw this movie I was really bored in the middle of it.There good moments. Pod race fun, like a light saber battle at the end. There are some very nice special effects throughout. Hopefully Lucas just had writer's block when he wrote this one. Maybe he will remember what made other films so well in time for Episode II. Although he seems to have failed this title.
