Review:
The Paperboy (2012) *** (out of 4) Lee Daniels Peter Dexter novel bog litter looks at some of the mystery surrounding modify one of them. Reporter Ward Jansen (Matthew McConaughey) returns to his hometown to try to solve the mystery of who died after sheriff. Hillary Van mill (John Cusack) is a crime reporter's death row, but it is innocent and her brother (Zac Efron) and trashy woman (Nicole Kidman) is what drags. The Paperboy unpleasant to look at that cast of characters, but it's fun to hate and McConaughey really change his image here, and even years before it is to see Killer Joe. In the figure the best performances, as well as the director of a real feel to the image that I think Daniels. The biggest problem is the script and the story I just felt that all that was great. They really seem to be a mystery surrounding the sheriff took the whole backseat and just really seemed to come and go at times. IM not really sure why it was pulled back as much as possible, especially with the end of the twists coming. Youdi twists in the story that the film itself is important to you, but still, just took off. It was also the director for the audience to be surprised, but the graphic violence and sexual situations, ie, all the stars are doing some things pretty wild. It is not as if the film just to build up the scene, and it seems fair to say that theyre quite memorable. Performances from the entire cast, as Kidman and McConaughey do wonders with a role in their trash characters marsh. They were both very compelling and hats off to them insofar as they think. I was also surprised Efron and think character development is handled quite well. Cusack plays a poly creepy bad guy, and we even have David Oyelowo, Scott Glenn, and Macy Gray solid support. Cinematography, the musical score is good and the atmosphere. Paperboy, and as a result, is a good platform for its star, but it can not help but miss the opportunity to feel better because it would have been a stronger story.
